Publicado en:17-05-2021

On May 8, 2021, the Children's Pop Art Workshop took place at the Pablo Ruíz Picasso Cultural Center.

On this occasion, it took place in one of the external corridors, so that the area was, in part, outdoors and complying with safety regulations, due to current sanitary circumstances, and part of one of the classrooms that overlooks said corridor due to the large influx of children.

The workshop was dedicated to Pop Art, Begoña Cerrillo in charge of teaching this workshop, spoke to the children about the self-taught artist Valeria Palmeiro, better known as Dávez, and about Andy Warhol, considered the father of Pop Art.

Later, the boys and girls made their own paintings based on the silhouettes of these two great artists, using the style of this popular art, and a fruit, as a consumer product, as Andy Warhol did.
