Next week, from July 14 to 18, the I Torremolinos Comedy Festival will be held at the Municipal Auditorium, one more cultural event within the town's calendar of events promoted by La Cochera Producciones with the collaboration of the Culture area of the townhall.

Faemino and Cansado, Luis Piedrahita, Josema Yuste and Teté Delgado, Jorge Javier Vázquez and Grison and Jaime will pass from July 14 to 18 at the Municipal Auditorium.

"We have been working on this project for a long time and we can proudly say that we are going to bring to Torremolinos the best comedy festival in the province of Malaga," said the Councilor for Culture, David Tejeiro, during the presentation in which he was accompanied by Javier Martínez, manager of La Cochera Producciones.

The mayor has commented that the cultural agenda of the municipality this summer is loaded with music, "but we also wanted laughs and with this festival we have them guaranteed." The objective is to consolidate the festival and expand the collaboration for the next few years.

With a limited capacity of 400 seats out of the more than 1,500 available, tickets are already on sale on the La Cochera Cabaret website. "Culture is safe, we comply with all sanitary measures and during all this time we have not stopped carrying out cultural activities in which there has not been any type of problem, much less outbreaks of infections, and we hope that it will continue to be the case," he said. designated Tejeiro.

For his part, Javier Martínez, thanked "the facilities provided by the City Council" to make this first festival a reality, which features "humor classics, established artists of the genre and emerging figures who have made a niche for themselves in the industry" with which covers a "very varied target audience of practically all ages".
